How Hexarelin Acetate Works
Hexarelin is a synthetic hexapeptide GH secretagogue that acts on the ghrelin receptor (GHSR-1a) to stimulate pituitary GH release. It is one of the strongest GHRPs, producing robust GH pulses even in subjects with low endogenous GH. Hexarelin also has unique cardioprotective properties mediated through CD36 (scavenger receptor class B) independent of GH release, protecting cardiomyocytes from ischemia and reducing cardiac fibrosis.
